Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead for our client in Clifton, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

• 2nd Shift: 2PM - 10:30PM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate

• $19 / hour

Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead will supervise the packaging teams on assembly lines. He/she is responsible for efficiently operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure accurate and timely packaging of products. This role involves following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhering to safety protocols while maintaining high-quality standards. Once hired, you will be reporting to the Packaging Supervisor and/or the Soft Gel Operations Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Operations: Lead and coordinate the activities of the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications and regulatory standards. Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
• Safety Compliance: Promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and develop production staff. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any personnel issues in collaboration with HR.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Lead lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.

Job Requirements  

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Lead dealing with packaging equipment
• Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging machinery
• Training or certification in operating packaging machinery
• MUST be bilingual (English AND Spanish)
