Job Summary:  

Best Buy Automotive & Tires is seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The Tire Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing tires, as well as performing routine tire maintenance to ensure our customers' vehicles are safe and road-ready. The ideal candidate will have experience in tire services, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, balance, and rotate tires on various types of vehicles.
• Repair punctures and other tire damage.
• Conduct tire inspections to identify wear patterns, defects, and other safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly use tire mounting and balancing equipment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and questions.
• Keep accurate records of tire services performed.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking tires and supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective service operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of tire installation, repair, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
