Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Tax Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will manage tax compliance across U.S. and international jurisdictions, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting audits, planning, and cross-border initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, experience with indirect and corporate taxes, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This is a US-based remote position. The work hours are

Job Responsibilities: - File indirect taxes (sales, VAT, GST) and other applicable local taxes accurately and on time.
- Research and ensure compliance with state, local, and global tax regulations.
- Reconcile all tax accounts in the general ledger, including property, sales, use, corporate income, and VAT.
- Support tax inquiries and audits from internal and external auditors as well as government agencies worldwide.
- Monitor updates in tax legislation, assess business impact, and communicate changes to leadership.
- Perform month-end close tax-related tasks including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Support global tax planning, transfer pricing analysis, and intercompany transaction documentation.
- Maintain and improve internal controls related to tax reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, IT, and other teams to ensure proper tax treatment of business transactions.
- Assist in implementing tax automation tools and ERP system enhancements.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, with tax experience preferred.
- Global tax experience a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; knowledge of tax software preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work independently while adhering to procedures and instructions.
