Supplier ONBOARDING AND Diversity SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE SUMMARY

No relocation assistance will be provided.

This role is responsible for developing, supporting, and executing Trulieve’s Supplier Diversity program. Candidate will report to the Purchasing Director. This role is focused on developing US and global Supplier Diversity strategies for small and diverse suppliers with various internal Trulieve departments.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The key tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the vendor onboarding process end to end for all new vendors/suppliers.

• Coordinate supplier diversity and supplier reporting activities.
• Identify qualified, prospective small and diverse suppliers and facilitate introductory discussions with Procurement colleagues.
• Search Supplier Diversity websites by state to identify potential new diverse suppliers.
• Develop relationships and communicate regularly with various Diversity Certifying Agencies.
• Analyze supplier diversity reporting to ensure corporate goals/ targets are achieved.
• On an annual basis, validate and maintain accuracy of business diversity self-certifications.
• Prepare and submit periodic Subcontracting Plans and Spend Reports.
• Develop and execute small and diverse supplier strategies, based on data analysis from various internal sources and systems to proactively identify annual sourcing opportunities.

• Serve as subject matter expert on supplier diversity initiatives and small and diverse supplier capabilities.
• Drive increased engagement amongst Procurement colleagues with diverse suppliers through meetings and presentations.
• Manage, review and respond to inquiries from various channels, including supplier diversity mailbox.
• Maintain and update Supplier Diversity and Onboarding platform (Gainfront).
• Oversee the process of extracting spend data from SAP and uploading to Gainfront to ensure timeliness and accuracy of transfer.
• Participate in Vendor Management activities for new key/critical suppliers as required.

Relationship Building/Partnerships :

• Raise awareness of Trulieve’s Supplier Diversity program through the following activities:
  • Outreach activities with small and diverse suppliers through participation in relevant conferences, groups and trade shows.
  • Develop and mentor diverse suppliers to ensure successful engagements and relationships.
• Participate in supplier development activities with national and local small and diverse supplier councils.
• Participate in supplier diversity panels and workshops.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience is required.

• Candidate must have knowledge of the sourcing process and have experience with supplier relationship management activities.
• Candidate must have competency with procurement systems including SAP.
• Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Candidate must have good analytical skills.
• Candidate must have experience in working within a matrixed environment and have strong project management and organizational skills.
• Candidate must have ability to work independently and to prioritize work assignments.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
