  Summer 2025 - Copywriter Intern  in GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

We are looking for students who are available for Summer 2025 for a full-time internship opportunity. You must be able to work full time in-person for at least 12 weeks in Summer 2025.

• May/June 2025 - August/September 2025
• Position will be posted until 11/3/2024. Interviews will be on-going.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Gulfstream’s Marketing department is pleased to open applications for a copywriting intern to work closely with the creative team in support of our internal copy database, customer-facing communications and travel and lifestyle magazine. In addition to gaining experience collaborating with senior writers and graphic designers in a corporate environment, the copywriting intern will have the opportunity to develop at least one writing project and receive editorial feedback. The ideal candidate will have earned a 3.0 GPA or higher in an undergraduate or graduate English, journalism, communications or writing program.

 

This is a Summer 2025 intern position, with the selected candidate working at least 12 weeks from May/June - August/September 2025. The intern must be available to report to the Gulfstream Marketing Building in Savannah, GA. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8.00 am - 4.00 pm.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

1. To be considered for a Summer 2025 internship, applicants must plan to graduate from their current academic program any time after August 2025 or plan to continue their education in Summer or Fall 2025 (i.e. bachelors to masters). 
2. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application is required and  must be listed on the submitted resume .
3. Resumes without a GPA will not be considered.
4. Transcripts will be checked, and we do not average transfer credits from one institution to another.
5. Freshman, please list high school GPA.
6. Master’s students without GPA, please list undergraduate GPA.
7. Strong interpersonal skills
8. Display maturity and a high level of professionalism
9. Proven leadership skills on-campus or in a previous work atmosphere
10. Previous internship experience a plus
11. Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship
12. Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week, for at least 12 weeks in-person during the months of May/June - August/September 2025
