As a Strategic Finance and FP&A Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our diverse client base, which includes startups, small and medium-sized businesses, and middle-market firms. Your expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and cash flow analysis will be crucial in delivering comprehensive financial insights. You'll work closely with our team of seasoned professionals, gaining invaluable experience and mentorship from former CFOs.
**Detailed Responsibilities**
- Produce critical reporting packages for client management on a regular basis, adhering to deadlines and statutory requirements.
- Assist with cash flow management and related duties.
- Work collaboratively with internal and client teams to drive strategic projects and enhance processes.
- Contribute to forecasting and growth planning.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and stakeholders.
- Prepare materials for significant financial milestones, such as Series A, Series B, and Pre-IPO stages.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
**Qualifications**
We're seeking a passionate financial planning and analysis professional with a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in public or private equity companies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling expertise.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
- Collaborative spirit to drive cross-functional business goals.
- Ability to interpret analytical results and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Capacity to manage multiple client engagements effectively.
- Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and a quick learning ability.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
