Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers with precision and care.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of inventory movements and report discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a forklift operator, specifically with stand-up forklifts.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
