Position: Sr. Project Manager – PMO (13320-1)

Job Summary:

Mercer is deploying cloud-based solutions for government entities and requires an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex projects with a strong emphasis on PMO governance and cloud solution deployment . The candidate must have a proven track record of managing broad-scale initiatives , ensuring project success through governance, standardized methodologies, and stakeholder collaboration.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle , ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery .
  
• Develop and maintain risk plans, resource schedules, cost projections, assumptions, and dependencies .
  
• Adjust and communicate scope changes while mitigating project risks.
  
• Maintain effective stakeholder communication , ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  
• Negotiate resource allocation , resolving priority conflicts when necessary.
  
• Lead regular project meetings , documenting risks and action items.
  
• Assign and oversee work for entry-level professionals , ensuring adherence to standards.
  
• Review and validate complex project proposals , suggesting necessary refinements.
  
• Recommend new project management methodologies based on experience.
  

PMO-Specific Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on regional, divisional, and global project governance .
  
• Facilitate oversight and compliance across the portfolio .
  
• Standardize tools, templates, and execution strategies for PMO projects.
  
• Conduct toll gate reviews and project health assessments .
