As a SpeechLanguage Pathologist youll play a pivotal role in crafting individualized education plans empowering students to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Collaborating with parents educators and other professionals you ll implement effective strategies to assess and address speech and language needs. Additionally you ll have the opportunity to enhance your skills through dynamic professional development sessions offered by the school district.

Position Highlights:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students speech language and communication abilities.
  
• Provide therapy either individually or in small groups to address specific communication goals.
  
• Develop personalized treatment plans for a range of speech and language disorders such as articulation fluency voice and comprehension issues.
  
• Participate in IEP meetings collaborating with the team to set meaningful goals and design appropriate interventions for each student.
  
• Collaborate with teachers parents and other educational staff to seamlessly integrate speech and language strategies into students daily routines and academic plans.
  

Requirements

• Needs ASHA certification to be considered.
  
• A Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.
  
• Eligibility for or possession of an SLP license in Illinois is necessary.
  
• CFYs are welcome to apply and will receive dedicated supervision to support their professional development.
