Our client is looking for dedicated social media support 30 hours a week, hybrid 3 days a week in Edina/Bloomington. This contract has the potential to go for a year and be hired on for the right talent. Is it you?

THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will help this growing professional services organization grow sales and awareness via social media.

• Manage and execute a cohesive social media strategy aligned with our clients brand goals.
• Create engaging content — including copywriting, visuals, and multimedia — tailored for each platform
• Schedule and publish posts across multiple social channels
• Monitor social media activity daily, responding to comments, messages, and community engagement opportunities
• Track performance metrics, report on analytics, and make recommendations to improve results
• Partner closely with marketing, communications, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency
• Stay on top of trends and emerging social platforms to social presence fresh and competitive

You’ll develop engaging, on-brand, and original content across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), write compelling copy that tells our clients story and resonates with their audience, monitor performance all while align contenting with brand voice, design, campaigns, and goals. Everything from working with executives to events and trainings.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio or examples of past work.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling, brand-aligned messages.
• Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools.
• Strong history of small company experience (this small department has great people but you’ll need to be able to run this mostly on your own) and keep the team up to date.
• Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or native social media insights.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for building vibrant online communities.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and community management
• Strong recent social media experience in LinkedIn, Insta, TikTok and other platforms
• Strong portfolio of your work
• Experience in professional services organizations highly desired.
• Experience in design and tech-Canva, Hootsuite, Hubspot highly desired
• Strong experience in paid and organic social
• Ability to go on-site to Edina/Bloomington 3 days a week.
