Shannon Sharpe and his company Shay Shay Media joined The Volume to jointly produce new programming with the network and be the home for sports podcasts that make you think and make you laugh. We are committed to producing the best content from the biggest names in their respective fields.

We are looking for a passionate and hard-working Social Media Intern to work on the live Nightcap shows with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson in the evenings. This is a fully remote opportunity and candidates must be willing to work late nights and weekends.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with various tasks across Nightcap
• Assist in the management of brand social media handles, including: writing copy, scheduling posts, organizing distribution documents
• Assist in the creation of content for social media, including: working with editors to identify potentially viral content, editing show clips for specific social media handles
• Respond to comments and direct messages on social media platforms
• Other tasks and assignments as needed

Who You Are:

• Passionate, hard working, eager to learn about the digital and social media landscape
• Interest in and passion for sports and/or pop culture
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Can work autonomously in a remote environment
• Strong communication skills both in person, over video/phone and in writing

The compensation for this paid internship will be $20 an hour.
