Company Description: H.J. Martin and Son is a diversified construction company specializing in commercial and residential flooring, glass and glazing, walls and ceilings, commercial doors and hardware, and millwork and fixture installation.

Position Description: We are seeking a Shower Door & Mirror Installer to install various products, including shower doors and mirrors within our residential division. This position is responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers, along with completing professional installation of shower doors and mirrors within our customers’ property. Advancement opportunities may exist once work ethic and expertise is established.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Must be capable of installing any glass configuration in a safe manner
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction plans, and layouts
• Follows all paperwork and does not make any assumptions without the proper direction from the division leader
• General knowledge of hand tools and power tools in a safe manner

Other Duties As Assigned: Performs other related duties as assigned, including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Construction and/or glass installation experience is preferred, but not required
• Must possess the skills to multi-task, work in a team setting, and meet deadlines
• Must be detailed oriented and reliable
• Express an eagerness and willingness to learn and receive instruction and direction from project leader
• Applies common sense with an understanding to carry out detailed instructions
• A valid state driver’s license is required

Working Environment: Residential new homes, remodels, and large-scale commercial projects. Position requires strenuous physical work, including heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds), pushing and/or pulling objects.

Conditions of Employment: Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical. The employee is expected to all adhere to all company policies.
