Job Description:

Labor Finders is seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator for a temporary assignment with a client in the St. Petersburg, FL area. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sewing machines, with a particular emphasis on working with fiberglass materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sewing machines to join, reinforce, decorate, or perform related sewing operations in the manufacturing process.
• Handle and sew fiberglass materials with precision and care.
• Follow patterns, templates, and instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet client specifications.
• Maintain sewing machines and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator.
• Ability to work with various types of materials, particularly fiberglass.
• Attention to detail and high standards of craftsmanship.
• Ability to read and follow patterns and instructions.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role working with fiberglass.
• Basic knowledge of sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
