The Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who thrives on lead development. In this role, your primary mission is to identify, engage, and qualify potential customers to build a strong pipeline for our Account Executives.
You’ll be the engine of Subject7’s outbound motion—conducting research, crafting personalized outreach, and initiating meaningful conversations with engineering, QA, and IT leaders across industries. You’ll also be the first line of contact for inbound interest and event-driven leads, qualifying and nurturing them into high-value sales opportunities.
You will work closely with marketing, and product teams to understand our unique value proposition—automated testing with speed, security, and scale—and communicate that effectively to decision-makers and technical buyers.
Responsibilities
Research, identify, and qualify outbound leads through a combination of cold outreach, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and event follow-up
Conduct high-quality discovery calls and schedule product demos
Collaborate with Marketing to convert inbound leads into sales opportunities
Understand and articulate Subject7’s value to QA, engineering, and IT stakeholders
Maintain accurate records of activities in the Salesforce CRM
Help build and iterate on outbound campaigns, messaging, and targeting
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of SDR, BDR, or Inside Sales experience in B2B SaaS (test automation a distinct plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curiosity and coachability — you’re not afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo
High energy, self-starter mindset with a bias toward action
Comfortable with tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Experience working with technical products or selling into engineering/IT teams is a bonus
