This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Program Manager – Aviation in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and coordinate complex aviation programs, driving the successful delivery of multiple airport projects from inception to completion. You will oversee project planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring initiatives meet budget, timeline, and quality standards. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will monitor performance, mitigate risks, and implement best practices in airport operations. The position requires strategic leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment, making a tangible impact on airport operations and infrastructure.

Accountabilities

· Develop, manage, and oversee airport programs and projects, ensuring objectives are met on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

· Coordinate across departments such as operations, maintenance, security, and customer service to ensure seamless program execution.

· Engage with external stakeholders, including airlines, government agencies, contractors, and vendors, to facilitate progress and resolve issues.

· Monitor program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

· Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, airport safety standards, and industry best practices.

· Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

· Manage program budgets, resources, and schedules effectively, optimizing project outcomes.

· Lead and mentor a team of project managers and support staff, fostering collaboration and high-performance culture.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Preferred: Master’s degree, Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification, and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).

· 10+ years of experience in airport operations or program management.

· Proven experience managing complex airport programs/projects valued at $10M or more.

· Familiarity with multiple project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk, and Progressive Design-Build.

· Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, airport safety standards, and industry best practices.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

· Demonstrated ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
