Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the purchasing of perishable goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail, with a focus on grocery and perishable items. This role requires expertise in price negotiation, supplier relationship management, and a deep understanding of the perishable goods market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Procurement of Perishable Goods : Oversee the procurement process for all perishable items, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Negotiate Prices : Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
• Supplier Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and quality.
• Market Analysis : Stay updated on market trends and pricing for perishable goods to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Compliance and Quality Control : Ensure all products meet company standards for quality and comply with relevant regulations.
• Cost Management : Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve procurement processes.
