Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a  Packaging Technician to join our team!
As the  Packaging Technician  your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Completing daily packaging assignments including selecting appropriate medications for packing and packing medications in blister cards.
• Maintaining a clean workstation and stocked supplies.
• Double-checking all medications prior to completion and obtaining Pharmacist check.
• Handling exceptions to completion or confers with supervisor/pharmacist.
• Returning unused stock to shelves in appropriate areas Potential cross-train to float to related areas (Delivery, EDK, etc.)

• Pharmacy Technician License in the appropriate state
• Strong computer skills
• Basic knowledge of unit dose packaging, bingo/blister card packaging, liquids and compounding, DK, labeling, etc.
• 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred, but not required.
