Payroll Specialist 

We are looking to expand our team with a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Coordinator to join us at our Solon, OH office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate commissions and bonuses, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Review and verify timesheets for accuracy; adjust for any missing punches.
• Enter bi-weekly payroll reports into the accounting software system.
• Track PTO and sick time in the payroll system in accordance with state requirements.
• Coordinate with HR on payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, benefit enrollments, salary adjustments, etc.
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements across multiple states to ensure legal compliance.
• Investigate and resolve payroll issues, discrepancies, and errors promptly.
• Provide additional support to the operations team as needed.

Who We're Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1+ years of payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping experience in a professional office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work full-time from our office in Solon, OH

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Smartsheet, QuickBooks, or Kronos
• Familiarity with Great Plains
• Experience running payroll in ADP
