Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Package / Mail Screener to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming packages and mail to ensure safety and compliance with company protocols. You will utilize security procedures and tools to detect potential hazards, including prohibited items or dangerous substances, and ensure proper handling and processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and screen all incoming packages and mail for safety and compliance.
• Identify and report suspicious or potentially dangerous items or materials.
• Follow security protocols for handling and processing suspicious packages.
• Document and track screened items for inventory and record-keeping purposes.
• Coordinate with other team members or authorities when necessary to handle flagged items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a security, mailroom, or logistics role is preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow security protocols and handle sensitive materials appropriately.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check and security screening.
