A family in Woodside is seeking a loving, intuitive ROTA nanny to provide overnight care for their three young children (one toddler + twins). They're looking for someone who loves working with toddlers and is deeply invested in their development and well-being. Someone who sees nannying as their calling vs. a profession will be the best fit for them. Their ideal person is adaptable, collaborative and team-oriented as this is a multi-staffed home. The family travels somewhat frequently and need flexibility to travel for up to 3 weeks at a time as needed.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a combo Nanny/Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Fully COVID vaccinated (including booster)
• TB and Tdap vaccines
• CPR Certification
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide vehicle for work-related driving)
• Relaxed and easygoing, but professional
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Dedicated to nurturing children and supporting their growth and development
• Happy to pitch-in with household/family assistant tasks
• Travel-ready
• Organized
• Adaptable and flexible
• Must love cats! A "cat person" is ideal!

Responsibilities

• Full-charge overnight care for the children (primarily the twins)
• By 7pm, the twins will be bathed and likely asleep. It is rare that they are not asleep by 7pm, but if that is the case, then the night nanny will need to finish putting them down.
• Upon arrival, the night nanny will ask the day nannies for a download on the twin's day:
  • How they napped
  • How they ate
  • Anything else that is relevant
• The night nanny will sleep in the nursery with the twins. They will wake up and tend to the twins as needed.
  • Right now, 1 child consistently wakes up once a night for a twilight feed and 1 child consistently wakes one to two times per night for a twilight feed.
• The twins often wake up before 7am. In the mornings they will need to be fed and entertained.
  • This person will need to be able to manage two babies awake at the same time.
• For handoff, they will speak to the day nannies about how the night went. They should also wash bottles and make sure everything is all set up for the day nannies.
