OT & Health Science Administrative Assistant Location Kansas City, MO (Eastern - area) :

The Department of Occupational Therapy (OT) is seeking a full-time administrative assistant for 37.5 hours per week. This individual is a staff member of the St. Luke's College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Rockhurst University. This person works with the department chair, faculty, and students to fulfil a variety of roles, including, but not limited to, the following:

• Performing administrative duties (i.e., monitoring budget, reconciling credit card, ordering equipment and supplies).
• Supporting faculty and staff with student recruitment, retention, and admission (i.e., updating webpages, coordinating events).
• Providing faculty support (i.e., proctoring exams, attending committee meetings).
• Communicating with students (i.e., assisting with student orientation and registration, working with student associations).

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree and at least one (1) year of related experience. Professional licensure in the healthcare field is recommended. Applicants must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook calendar management. Ideal applicants must also possess excellent interpersonal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
