MedCare Pediatric Group is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our growing team to provide, evaluate, and implement occupational therapy services to pediatric clients.

*** PRN opening for Afterschool and/or Saturday availability at our Stafford Clinic ***

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Texas by anticipated start date
• Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required

Job Duties:

• Provides treatment as directed and supervised by the licensed Occupational Therapist for patients on assigned caseload according to discipline standards
• Observes, records, and reports any significant changes in the patient’s condition to the Director/Assistant Director, Supervising Occupational Therapist, and physician.
• Assists in ensuring that all patient areas are properly cleaned and sanitized at the end of each treatment session
• Collaborates with all team members to plan and carry out the best possible therapeutic program for assigned caseload
