Job Description

Full-time live in preferred. Will consider live out with the right candidate. Room and board and vehicle use provided. Prefer at least a one year commitment. Position provides a two week paid vacation yearly. Provide complete care for the children in the employer's home and perform all tasks that correlate to the care of the children. Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive and develop. Nanny Job includes light housework duties. Typical schedule will be 4-5 days (including weekdays and weekends) at approximately 45 hours per week. Flexibility is required with scheduling as last minute trips and events occasionally arise. Nanny will receive monthly schedule at least one month in advance. Nanny should be comfortable working many days consecutively if traveling with the family. (e.g., if traveling for one to two weeks at a time). I have a 13 year old boy, a 11 year old girl and a toddler who will be 5 towards the end of July. Older 2 children attend school daily, and are in the home half time. Toddler will also be attending school full time during the school year. When children are on break of out of school will need nanny to be with all 3 children. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities · helping get the children to and from school and other activities · children's laundry · help with errands when children are in school · meals for children (and family when needed) · grocery shopping for the household · preparing meals and snacks for the children Keeping the house picked up and neat; wipe down counters · supervising children's meals · shopping for children's requirements · scheduling and coordinating children's activities (putting everything on shared calendar) · undertaking appropriate creative activities with the children · undertaking appropriate educational activities with the children · undertaking appropriate outdoor activities with the children--children love to swim in our pool · implementing daily routines · doing light housework--we have someone that comes and does the heavy cleaning Pack and unpack children for trips and travel (create pack lists in advance to ensure children have everything needed for travel) Organizational projects (e.g., children's bedrooms, playrooms (books, toys, crafts, etc.), closets, rotating clothes seasonally, getting rid of outgrown toys and clothing, taking things for donation, etc.) Schedule and maintain schedules and calendars for household and family (register for sports/activities/camps/etc., plan play dates and outings with friends, etc.) · running errands that may come up - Sorting mail and helping with paperwork filing, rental properties, paperwork for business Education and Experience · experience in this type of position · proven child care experience with references · First Aid and CPR certification · driving license and safe driving record Experienced working with multiple children in a nanny or teaching position Passionate about education and child development 2-5+ years of full-time consistent and recent domestic experience working as a nanny/house manager/family assistant 3-4 references from domestic positions Key Competencies · flexibility · adaptability · ability to multitask · emotional maturity · good judgment skills · planning and organizing skills (takes initiative and is a self-starter) · stress tolerance · high energy level Capable of building rapport with similar aged children (toddlers, school aged, pre-teens, teenagers, etc.); kind and calm engagement with children at all times Ability to travel internationally and domestically as necessary Highly organized, detail oriented, proactive, excellent time management, positive attitude, efficient and service focused Work Remotely No Job Types: Full-time, Contract Salary: $300.00 - $675.00 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday
