Job Title: Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Purpose:

Are you a passionate Mortgage Loan Officer looking to make a meaningful impact? We're excited to invite a new team member to join our dynamic Mortgage Sales team. In this role, you'll have the flexibility to work from home or from one of our office locations, with occasional travel required for client visits and office meetings.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Connect with clients to offer tailored residential mortgage solutions.
- Transform inbound and outbound sales leads into successful mortgage applications.
- Assess clients' financial needs and recommend the best product and rate combinations.
- Meet monthly sales performance goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:

- Solicit, originate, negotiate, secure, and process residential mortgage loans.
- Provide expert counseling and advice to loan applicants.
- Gather necessary information and documents from applicants and other parties.
- Set interest rates, points, and fees for loans.
- Collect any required charges or fees from applicants.
- Monitor loan application statuses and keep all parties informed.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth loan processing and closing.
- Address questions and resolve disputes related to closings.
- Share information about available loan products and services with real estate professionals.
- Attend meetings and presentations, both internally and with real estate firms.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain comprehensive loan files.
- Perform additional duties as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and negotiating loans in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with loan processing guidelines, including those from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA.
- Solid understanding of standard loan practices, documentation, and real estate terminology.
- Strong grasp of the mortgage market.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
- Must be based in California.

Compensation:

- $52,000 - $200,000 per year, with commission (1099 status).
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
