Job Title: Mortgage Loan Officer
Location: Los Angeles, Ventura County, Santa Barbara, or San Luis Obispo, CA (Hybrid)

In this role, you'll work closely with our Mortgage Sales Manager and have the flexibility to work remotely or from one of our office locations. Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and connect with potential clients seeking residential mortgage solutions.
- Turn both inbound and outbound leads into successful mortgage applications.
- Assess clients' financial needs and recommend the best mortgage products and rates.
- Meet and exceed sales performance goals, reviewed on a monthly basis.

Core Duties:

- Originate, negotiate, and process residential mortgage loans with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Counsel and guide loan applicants throughout the process.
- Collect necessary documentation and information from applicants and other involved parties.
- Set and manage loan terms, including interest rates, points, and fees.
- Keep track of loan application statuses and update clients accordingly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing and closing.
- Address questions and resolve issues related to loan closings.
- Share information about our loan products and services with real estate professionals.
- Participate in meetings and presentations both within the company and with real estate firms.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain thorough loan documentation.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing and negotiating loans in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with loan processing guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA).
- Strong understanding of standard loan practices, documents, and real estate terms.
- In-depth knowledge of the mortgage market.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Must be located in California.

Compensation:

- $52,000 - $200,000 per year, plus commission.
