Job Title: TRAVEL Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN - Med Surg) Location: Central City, NE Position Overview: ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse with Medical-Surgical expertise to join our team for a contract assignment in Central City, NE. • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 6, 2025
• Shift: Night shift, 36 hours per week
• 12 hours shifts, working every 3rd weekend, no call
• Pay Rate: Competitive pay of $2250 per week, with weekly pay, $1004 tax and $1246 stipend

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Two years of experience
• Certification: BLS, ACLS, TNCC required
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Nebraska required or approved compact state of residence
• Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Epic-Pyxis-BD Alaris pumps
• Additional Requirements: compliance with current facility health standards

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff.
• Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.
• Ability to adhere to hospital and department procedures.
• Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment relevant to changing patient needs
• Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 4:1
