Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Salary: $70 to $75k
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, directing, and coordinating all activities within the Marketing Department. This role involves developing strategies to achieve organizational goals through market and competitor analysis. The Marketing Manager will oversee the execution of marketing projects related to products and services, as well as implement innovative ideas for specialized programs and partnerships with advertising and digital marketing agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Campaign Management: Design and implement short- and long-term comprehensive marketing plans and programs to support the organization’s sales and revenue goals.
Market Analysis: Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize competitive threats.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing department’s operational budget.
Advertising & Promotions: Plan and supervise advertising and promotional activities, including print, online, electronic, and direct mail campaigns.
Channel Development: Evaluate and recommend channel development programs for distribution.
Agency & Vendor Relations: Determine the selection of agencies and vendors, negotiate contract terms, and manage relationships with external agencies for ongoing promotional campaigns.
Promotional Materials: Supervise the development and production of marketing materials, including promotional and collateral materials.
Product Positioning & Pricing: Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies to maximize long-term market share.
P&L Management: Achieve a satisfactory profit and loss ratio for market share in alignment with industry standards and economic trends.
Market Performance: Monitor and control marketing results, taking corrective actions as necessary to ensure marketing objectives are met within designated budgets.
Research & Strategy Adjustment: Oversee market research activities and adjust marketing strategies based on market conditions and competition.
Customer Database Management: Supervise the development and maintenance of the customer database.
Industry Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, key strategic partners, and community stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Conflict Resolution: Manage the marketing team, resolve conflicts, and facilitate structural changes to ensure objectives are met and the team responds quickly to marketing opportunities and issues.
Product Surveys: Conduct marketing surveys for new and existing product concepts and provide feedback for product development.
Reporting: Lead the preparation of marketing activity reports and present them to senior management.
Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent corporate branding across all product lines, marketing materials, and events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing.
Availability to travel outside of Puerto Rico.
Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken), with excellent communication and writing skills.
Proficiency with computer applications such as CRM software, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and other relevant tools
