Job Description

Assists clients in delivering the most therapeutically beneficial, professionally elegant and consistent Massage and Body Treatments available for our clients, while educating them about self-care and home care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs deep and light massage, additional massage modalities, and body treatments such as scrubs and wraps.
  • Evaluates clients’ individual needs and expectations to determine most effective services or programs.
  • Interacts cooperatively with other spa team members to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Presents a warm, gracious, and professional persona for clients and co-workers.
  • Adheres to a high professional standard in dress, grooming, language, and lifestyle.
  • Actively builds repeat clientele.
  • Properly cares for spa equipment and uses recommended amounts of product to help with cost controls.
  • Actively promotes home care programs and products when in the best interest of the client.
  • Upholds high standards of sterilization and sanitation as required by law and the policies and procedures of the spa.
  • Performs preparation work and properly cleans and restocks work area as required.
  • Communicates to the management any occurrences involving guests or staff in the spa that require attention.
  • Manage guests’ concerns and questions professionally and courteously.
  • Operate cash registers to receive payments from patrons.
  • Update and maintain customer information records, such as any services provided.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • High School Diploma, GED, or related education/experience.
  • Enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must hold current state license.
