Reporting directly to second generation principals, you'll work closely with family members, the CFO, Tax Director and external advisors across the family's personal and investment activities.

Description:
- Provide expert legal advice to the family office on all matters including corporate governance, real estate, investments, trusts, estates, and philanthropy
- Advise and draft documents related to entity structuring, and support negotiations and documentation for general US, BVI, and Cayman corporations
- Advise on estate planning strategies, succession planning including the creation and management of trusts and wills
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, working closely with external tax advisors to advise on and optimize tax strategies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to maintain legal and regulatory compliance
- Advise on matters of corporate governance and assist with the organization and documentation of family governance structures.
- Advise on the protection, enforcement, and commercialization of intellectual property assets
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 - 8 years of legal experience, JD required
Experience with BVI and Cayman partnerships is a must
Experience with foreign trusts is a must
Real estate and intellectual property a plus
