Job Description
As the Japanese Translator for the company you will play a key role in enhancing communication between English-speaking and Non-English speaking associates, ensuring a smooth and effective exchange of information. The role involves assisting Non-English associates in adapting to the workplace environment in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Translate speeches and presentations accurately.
- Provide oral translation during meetings and discussions.
- Offer ongoing support to Non-English speaking associates, helping them understand and integrate into the work environment.
- Serve as a liaison between departments and management, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in simultaneous interpreting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Extensive vocabulary and knowledge in both English and Japanese, with the ability to translate across various contexts.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2-3 years of experience in simultaneous interpreting.
- High-level proficiency in interpretation and translation.
- Ability to perform accurate simultaneous interpretation.
- Skilled in evaluating translations for clarity and accuracy in both syntax and semantics, making necessary corrections as needed.
