The Role
As an Interior Architecture Designer II or III at Volansky Studio, you’ll play a key role in bringing our clients’ visions to life in collaboration with the Director of Interiors. You will also collaborate closely with Project Managers and Associate Architects to develop the interior architectural design and specification phases of diverse projects. Your role is hands-on: from guiding clients through design decisions that align with their goals to being on-site with trade partners, ensuring the design intent is clearly communicated. You’ll also work with clients in our office and in showrooms to specify materials and finishes that bring their vision to life. This role is perfect for a designer ready to grow and develop into the lead position and drive projects forward.
Who You Are
You’re detail-oriented, clear in your communication, and passionate about design and architecture. You have 3-5 years of experience in 2D CAD, SketchUp 3D Modeling, Adobe Suite, and are comfortable with Microsoft programs like Excel. In addition to your technical skills, you excel in client presentations, organizing specifications, and building relationships with both internal teams and external partners. You approach your work with a growth mindset, always eager to learn and collaborate. Ideally, you live within 45 minutes of our main office in Stowe and are excited to be part of a tight-knit team.
What Volansky Studio Offers
This is a full-time, year-round role offering $27-32/hour depending on experience. We provide comprehensive health insurance, a 401(k) contribution with owner match and profit-sharing option, paid vacation, holidays, and sick days. While we encourage in-office collaboration, we offer limited flex hours to work from home when necessary. Most of your time will be spent in our office in Stowe, surrounded by a team that values creativity and connection.
