Are you a coding expert who loves diving into medical records and making sure everything’s accurate? We’re looking for a passionate Inpatient/Outpatient Coder to join our client’s team and keep their coding system running like clockwork. Whether it’s hospital stays or clinic visits, you’ll use your skills to assign ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes that ensure correct billing and compliance.

• Review inpatient and outpatient records to assign accurate ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical teams to clarify documentation and resolve coding issues
• Conduct regular audits to verify coding accuracy and identify any discrepancies
• Stay up to date on coding changes, regulations and guidelines to keep processes current

• 2+ years of experience coding inpatient and outpatient services in a healthcare setting
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines
• Sharp attention to detail, analytical skills and a knack for problem-solving
• The ability to work independently and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals
