Job Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

We’re looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our Milwaukee team and lead all day-to-day HR operations at our local facility. What You’ll Do:

As our HR Generalist, you’ll be the go-to person for everything HR-related at our Milwaukee site. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing employee records, time & attendance, payroll data, and confidential files
  • Leading onboarding, orientation, and employee relations initiatives
  • Supporting site managers in coaching, discipline, and performance improvement processes
  • Advising managers on employment laws, compliance, and company policies
  • Assisting with payroll, benefits administration, and annual open enrollment
  • Partnering with safety and benefits teams on return-to-work programs, wellness, and workers' compensation
  • Coordinating employee engagement events, wellness programs, and internal communications
  • Analyzing compensation trends and assisting with pay structure recommendations
  • Managing terminations, conducting exit interviews, and handling grievance resolutions
  • Participating in the performance review process and training compliance initiatives
You’ll also act as the local face of our HR department—someone employees can trust, confide in, and rely on for support and guidance.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • At least 2 years of HR experience (HR generalist experience in manufacturing is a plus)
  • PHR certification a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems (experience with Paylocity a plus)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage sensitive situations professionally, and build positive relationships across all levels
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
