Job Description:   Lakeview family seeking an experienced Nanny for their two children! Looking for a warm and caring Nanny to join their family. Start as soon as possible.

Schedule:   Guaranteed 40 hours a week. Scheduled hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

Compensation:  $27-$30/hour + vacation, holidays, sick days.

Job Details and Responsibilities:

  • Children: a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old.

  • Mom is a stay-at-home parent and assists with the care of the children throughout the day. Nanny should be comfortable working collaboratively.

  • Nanny will primarily take care of the 6-month-old. Will be able to take care of both children when needed.

  • Primary responsibilities are the day-to-day care of the children including preparing bottles, changing diapers, monitoring naps, and taking the children on walks and to activities.

  • Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing the children’s areas, children’s laundry, washing bottles and children’s dishes, and keeping track of the children’s needs (diapers, wipes, etc.).

  • Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding child development and milestones (switching to solid foods, crawling to walking, potty training, etc.). Should be able to provide developmentally appropriate activities.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive, verifiable nannying experience with infants and toddlers is required.

  • Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with a family.

  • Nanny should be warm, caring, and patient. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the children and the family.

  • Nanny should be a self-starter and organized. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and anticipate family's needs.

  • Reliable, punctual, and communicative. Is open to feedback and comfortable giving it as well.

  • Nanny should have a safe driving record and will be able to use their own vehicle when needed.

  • Family lives on the third level of a building with stairs. Nanny should be comfortable using the stairs daily and lifting a child up/down the stairs.
