Summary
Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time (0.8 FTE) Family Medicine Residency Faculty to join our Burien Campus team in Burien, Washington.
As a condition of employment, all clinicians and employees are required to verify COVID-19 vaccination status. Compensation and Benefits
The entire salary range for the clinician position is $267,336 to $314,513 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $267,336 to $298,787 based on factors such as education, training or experience.

Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding.

JOB SUMMARY
KP Washington Family Medicine Residency is a 6-6-6 community-based innovative urban family medicine residency program that has trained family physicians since 1969. We provide full-spectrum residency training in a longitudinal curriculum and immersion within one of the most advanced delivery systems in the country. We are seeking applicants for a faculty position who are passionate and experienced in improving diversity and equity in residency training and clinical care. This faculty/clinical role is employed by Washington Permanente Medical Group and will be eligible for shareholder status after completion of a three-year associate's program.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will become a core faculty member with responsibilities including precepting residents in clinic, advising and mentoring residents, curriculum development and oversight, and obstetrics care provision and teaching. The successful applicant will teach at both the Burien and Capitol Hill residency clinics and have a clinical practice in the Burien Medical Center.
Clinical responsibilities include outpatient family medicine as a 0.3 clinical FTE in the KPWA Burien Medical Center clinic and provide obstetrical care and teaching. Obstetrics is prenatal, intrapartum, and post-partum management of your own patients and teaching residents in these settings. There is also an option for inpatient medicine attending on the Family Medicine Residency service for the interested applicant.
