WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

This is a full-time or part-time position with all shifts available , including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is key, and overtime opportunities may arise based on client needs. Temporary positions are currently available for immediate hire.

As a full- or part-time Experienced Unarmed Security Officer, you will provide fixed and roving patrol security for a client site in Brunswick, GA. You will maintain a professional and alert presence at all times, ensuring the safety and security of the property, residents, and visitors. Each day, you will monitor entrances and exits, permit authorized access, and keep a watchful eye for irregular or unusual conditions that may pose safety concerns. You will respond swiftly to incidents, investigate and document any accidents or suspicious activities, and may call the police or fire department when necessary. Throughout your shift, you will maintain detailed daily activity reports using paper, computer, smartphone, or tablet systems. You will greet and assist residents and visitors courteously, strictly adhere to client rules and policies, and represent us with professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN EXPERIENCED UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• At least 18 years old
• Customer service experience
• Ability to pass any state-required training or qualifications and complete site-specific training before assignment
• Completion of the State of Georgia 24-hour Basic Security Officer course within six months of hire
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment, console monitors, and basic computer or tablet software
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and daily reports
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb stairs with loads, and stand or walk for extended periods
• Willingness to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor, following client and company policies, and upholding safety standards
• Possession of a mobile phone and an active email address
• Ability to market and represent E.K.G Security, Inc. services professionally
• If prior military, the ability to provide a DD-214 discharge documentation upon a job offer
