Accounts Payable Clerk

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. The purpose of the Accounts Payble Clerk is to process vendor payments in timely manner.

Job Responsibilites

• Enter and maintain invoices 
• Verify invoices match purchase orders
• Reconcile vendor statements and issuing timely vendor payments
• Setup and maintain vendor files
• Verify approval for invoices
• Prepare accounts payable checks either indivially or by batch
• Reconcile statement against ledger to ensure accuracy
• Communicate with vendors on any discrepancies
• Assist with monthly accounts payable close out
• Sort and file all accounts payable paperwork

Education and/or Experience

High School or General Education Degree (GED); and one year of automotive accounts payable experience.
