Job Description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a top provider of workforce management solutions, is dedicated to linking skilled professionals with rewarding career opportunities. We are currently seeking an Estimator to support our client, a prominent leader in the electrical construction industry.

Essential Duties:

• Provide estimating support for multiple projects.
• Prepare bid forms, pre-qualification documents, and other proposal materials for bid submissions.
• Assist in updating and issuing departmental tracking, scheduling, and reporting requirements.
• Complete detailed and time-sensitive prequalification questionnaires, submitting them to owners and contractors as directed.
• Utilize wide-format printers and scanners to plot, scan, and print plans.
• Assist with entry-level quantity take-offs of electrical drawings for estimating purposes.
• Identify upcoming projects for bidding opportunities.
• Organize bid documents and assist with the completion and submission of proposals and bid forms.
• Request and receive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in estimating or office administrative work preferred. General knowledge of construction industry disciplines and procedures is advantageous.
• Valid Class C California driver’s license required.
• Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, and spreadsheet applications.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
