We are currently seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Developer to join the Global Rental Digital Marketing team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, self-motivated, detail-oriented and has excellent problem-solving abilities. The desired candidate will have a strong technical background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a deep understanding of customer experience & journey design and implementation. Candidates should have experience and knowledge of email/SMS campaign workflows, deliverability best practices, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and deployment best practices. 

How You'll Shine:

• Responsible for executing and optimizing end-to-end email marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with greater digital marketing team and stakeholders to align on an email calendar and maintain the projects within it.
• Assist in management of timelines and communication plans across various audience segments.
• Drive the development production of email and SMS/mobile programs.
• Configures and manages Journeys and Automation Builder
• Partner with Digital Analysts to ensure campaigns are deployed with proper tagging, source tracking and overall link structures.
• Partner with Campaign Management, CRM and IT Teams to facilitate audience lists, data flows into/out of SFMC, and tracking/reporting of campaign results.
• Ensure Journeys are executed on-time and error free.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree. 
• 3+ years of work experience in email marketing, development or other relevant work experience. 
• Experience working in an email platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud required.
• Solid understanding and skillset of HTML and CSS coding specific to email. 
• Knowledge of email testing and optimization approaches. 
• Capability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to effectively manage expectations, build trust, and achieve high client satisfaction.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business outcomes. 
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision. 
• Knowledge and experience with project management tools, Jira preferred. 
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. 
• Experience working with mobile first and responsive design email templates and strategies. 
• Experience with marketing tagging and tracking platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics is preferred. 
• Experience with 3rd party email tools such as Litmus, Sparkpost, MovableInk, and a working knowledge of how to best use these tools. 
• Basic proficiency in AmpScript or similar personalization language. 
• Understanding of SQL is preferred.
• Salesforce certifications are a plus, but not required. 
• Deep understanding of compliance principles- CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email laws and best practices.
