  • Environmental Design: Apply CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles to new construction and renovation projects to enhance psychological and physical barriers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and installations adhere to national building codes (NEC/NFPA 70, ADA, ICC) and specific rail safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in physical and electronic security system design for commercial, industrial, or transportation sectors.
  • Certifications (Required): Must hold a current PSP (Physical Security Professional) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional) from ASIS, and a CPD (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) designation.

  • Risk Mitigation Expertise: Proven track record in designing wide-area perimeter detection, active deterrents, and portal-based intrusion systems.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and financial data for diverse stakeholders.
  • Education/Code Knowledge: Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70, ADA, and ASCE standards.
