Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain drill rigs in various construction and drilling environments.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards are met.
• Interpret project blueprints and specifications to execute drilling operations accurately and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate drilling schedules and tasks.
• Monitor drill performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal efficiency and production rates.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating drill rigs in a construction or related environment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations in drilling operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and operate heavy equipment.
