Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Desktop Technician to be a member of the IT Infrastructure department. Work closely with the Technology team and users to implement, maintain and support all Desktop environments globally. One of the main responsibilities will be maintaining a fleet of corporate provided mobile devices. Our client is a leading global investment manager specializing in real assets and alternative income, with $80B AUM and 40 years of experience. Responsibilities:

• Managing our fleet of corporate mobile devices, working with the carriers, vendors, configuring devise with Intune
• Provide high level email, desk-side and telephone support resolving day-to-day technical issues for 400+ users within the New York office, 5 global offices and remote users
• Setting up, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of hardware (servers, desktops, laptops, printers and all other peripherals) and software (Bloomberg, Citrix, MS Office and other financial software)
• Providing technical and analytical guidance as it relates to servers, storage, networking, telephones, and other IT systems
• Investigating and resolving application issues and daily job errors
• Dealing directly with customer support through user requests and queries

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in technology support within the financial industry
• Self-motivated, creative and ability to work independently/effective collaborator.
• Skillful at troubleshooting issues, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong knowledge regarding Mobile Device Management using Intune.
• Strong knowledge and experience in MS Office 365 (Applications and Administration), AD/Group Policy, Citrix Administration, & SCCM.
• Experience with scripting/automation, such as PowerShell a plus
• Must have a bachelor’s degree
