Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver for Food and Beverage to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting food and beverage products to various locations safely and in a timely manner. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport food and beverage products to designated locations.
• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures from customers upon delivery.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate delivery routes and address any delivery-related issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with other duties within the food and beverage department, as needed.

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.

· Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying delivery orders.

· Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.

· Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

· Knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods is a plus.

· Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in the food and beverage industry.

· Familiarity with GPS navigation systems.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $25.00-28.00 USD Hourly per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
