Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience and will play a critical role in designing and maintaining enterprise-wide taxonomies and metadata models. This position requires a strong understanding of data architecture, governance standards, and the ability to align taxonomy structures with business and analytics needs. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise-wide taxonomies and metadata models.
• Establish governance standards for data naming, categorization, and tagging.
• Align taxonomy structures with business and analytics needs.
• Optimize information organization for search, retrieval, and reporting.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to integrate taxonomy into data architecture.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Big Data technologies and ecosystem, as well as data modeling tools.
• Proficiency in project and process management.
• Experience in writing technical documentation.
• Familiarity with core data concepts such as data lakes, data warehousing, and building data catalogs/dictionaries with business glossaries.
• Knowledge of cloud and distributed computing and storage concepts and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in designing data models and schemas that support multiple business use cases across various technical stacks.
• Ability to define and implement data accuracy across the product portfolio.

Pay Range: $80hr - $85hr on w2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
