Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

A CMO is needed in The Berkshires, Massachusetts

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: $230,000 to $275,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 2 days/week clinical care; 3 days/week administrative leadership
• Travel to sites, as necessary; must be willing to work evening hours and weekends when necessary.
• Provide direct patient care and serve as a clinical role model.
• Lead clinical strategy and operations in partnership with senior leadership.
• Manage, mentor, and develop clinical leaders and staff.
• Oversee clinical quality programs and performance metrics.
• Drive integration across medical, behavioral health, and dental services.
• Represent the organization in value-based care initiatives and community partnerships.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited M.D. or D.O. program.
• Five (5) years or more as a practicing physician. Must have or obtain a Massachusetts medical license.
• Three (3)+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare delivery; five (5)+ preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records (Athena preferred).
• Proven track record of achieving clinical goals.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic planning abilities.
