Job Title: Business Execution Consultant - Data Risk & Regulatory Remediation

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension/conversion

Job Overview:

Candidate will support the Equities Business Control Team within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division. This role is focused on complex data risk assessments and regulatory remediation efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in operational risk, data analysis, and regulatory reporting, with the ability to support strategic initiatives with broad organizational impact.

Candidates need to have:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Execution, Strategic Planning, Regulatory Remediation, or related fields.
• Demonstrated background in financial services, particularly in Corporate & Investment Banking.
• Strong understanding of operational risk and data management principles.
• Hands-on experience in large-scale regulatory reporting projects (e.g., 2052a, Y-14, FRB reporting).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and Macros), and PowerPoint.
• Experience handling large, complex datasets and multi-tab spreadsheets.
• Background in data movement, enrichment, or change management initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance standards, data quality frameworks, and risk control implementations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex, multi-faceted operational risk data to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across business controls.
• Ensure CIB compliance with enterprise data policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support regulatory remediation initiatives, especially those involving data movement, enrichment, and change management.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues and drive continuous improvement in data governance processes.
• Identify and assess key and emerging risks, design controls, and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize data management risk.
• Track and report on project milestones, performance metrics, and risk mitigation efforts to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with CIB data management, technology, business stakeholders, and horizontal service teams to execute data management deliverables.
• Assist in the implementation of preventative and detective controls across data sourcing, conformance, and distribution layers.
• Prepare and present findings, analyses, and recommendations using PowerPoint and Excel-based reporting.
