Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper will handle essential financial operations, including Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P), manage payroll and insurance under light HR duties, and support our billing department. Familiarity with medical billing—particularly out-of-network billing—is preferred. The ideal candidate will be finance-savvy, proactive, and able to effectively manage financial tasks to maintain accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable (A/R) : Coordinate and communicate with the billing department to ensure timely collection and accurate records.
• Accounts Payable (A/P) : Process and record payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Payroll and HR Support : Handle payroll and insurance in collaboration with HR, providing light HR support.
• Medical Billing Knowledge : Preferred experience in medical billing, particularly with out-of-network billing complexities.
• Financial Reporting : Manage Profit and Loss (P&L) reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
• Financial Oversight : Maintain a strong grasp of overall financial status, identifying any issues and resolving them proactively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and finance.
• Strong skills in financial reporting, with attention to accuracy.
• Familiarity with medical billing is preferred;
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, providing clear, actionable financial insights.
