The Horseshoe Café is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Server/Bartender with a flexible schedule and excellent customer service skills. Must have a current MAST permit and Washington Food Handlers Card. At the Horseshoe Café our service staff needs to know how to keep their spaces organized, stocked, and clean. We strive to give our customers a great dining experience by providing quality food, tasty cocktails, and the best customer service. Team work is very important to us, we believe the business, the staff, and the guests all benefit greatly when everyone is working as one unit helping each other when needed. Applicants without a relevant work history on resume will not be considered for this position. Shifts vary from daytime shifts to closing shifts.

THIS POSITION IS PART-TIME , 23 hours a week about

Eligible candidates will have:

• 1 year minimum of serving
• 1+ year of bartending experience
• a positive attitude
• good communication skills
• the ability to problem solve in a sometimes difficult and challenging work environment
• the ability to de-escalate difficult guest situations without a manager present
• the ability to work effectively under pressure and quickly during rush times and peak hours
• the ability to stay busy during slow times
• a team mentality
• willingness to clean bathrooms
• Must be available for holidays such as: July 4th, Halloween, New Years Eve, New Years Day
