Position Summary:

As a Bank Teller, you’ll be the friendly face of Northwoods Bank, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while managing a variety of financial transactions. Your role will involve interacting with customers, handling cash and checks, and providing solutions to their banking needs. If you’re enthusiastic about fostering strong customer relationships and supporting your local community, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence: Greet and assist customers with a warm, welcoming attitude. Address inquiries and provide guidance on banking products and services.
• Financial Transactions: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments. Handle cash and checks with precision.
• Account Management: Assist customers with account-related requests, including balance inquiries, account openings, and loan payments.
• Compliance and Security: Follow established procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer information and bank assets.
• Community Engagement: Actively participate in community events and initiatives, representing Northwoods Bank with pride and enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is highly desirable.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with banking software is a plus and basic computer skills.

Northwoods Bank of Minnesota was chartered over a century ago in the small town of Dorset MN. The bank successfully navigated through the depths of the depression, the expansion years of the 1980’s and 1990’s, a charter re-location and name change, and most recently, the “great recession”. Throughout the years, the bank has grown and prospered. We are proud to continue to be locally owned and operated.
