Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and will be responsible for ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage children in educational activities while also managing daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Engage in creative activities.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diaper changes, and nap times.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children. No housework or home tasks. Focus is only on childcare.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding day of care.
• Foster a positive relationship with the children to encourage trust and comfort.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
• Knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and daycare practices is highly desirable.
• Strong caregiving skills with the ability to engage children in meaningful activities.
• Certification in First Aid or CPR is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring the safety of children.
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability in various situations related to childcare.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour
